Once the United States Government established the Selective Service Draft in 1940 many of the young men from our school were drafted into the U. S. Army. Over the next 30 years many of our Alums, both men and women decided to join a branch of the U. S. Military.

In researching Alumni History, it must be noted that one Alum gave the ultimate sacrifice to our country. Allen (A. J.) Williams, class of 1963, was killed in action in South Viet Nam. His commitment and memory will endure amongst all Alumni forever.
