Good Afternoon Schoolmates and Supporters,
It is an honor and a privilege to announce the 100th Birthday of Dr. Robert Henderson Smith, Sr. He is the only living graduate of the first graduating class of Rayville Colored High School, class of 1939. To reach such a tremendous milestone is indeed a blessing and tribute to a life well lived and still going strong. Dr. Smith is the son of the late Rev. Henderson & Rosie Lewis Smith and patriarch of the Smith-Stewart & Lewis family.
Quincy Mason worked with his contacts from the late Congressman-Elect Luke Letlow’s office and was able to have the U.S. flag flown over the Capitol in Washington D.C in honor of Dr. Smith’s 100th birthday on his birthday, Sunday May 9th. Afterward it will be mailed to him. (Thank you Quincy, for securing this honor for Dr. Smith.)
On behalf of our Alumni Association, please join our Board member, Annie Ruth Stewart-Staten and the rest of her family; in wishing their cousin, Dr. Smith, a happy, healthy and honorable 100th Birthday!!!

Wow, a century and counting!!!
Dragons Forever!
